John Cage tells us that not knowing where to begin is a common form of paralysis. His advice: begin anywhere. The easiest way to start is to wear the green and yellow ribbon.

Our mission: is to be the place to find out about Anything Green!

We'll show you: the science, and introduce you to the scientists behind the science.

We'll show you: who the leaders are and what they're doing to save this planet.

We'll show you: products that support the environment.

We'll show you: how you can make a big difference.

We'll show you: how to become an informed green consumer.

We all need to become more green, and Personally Green is here to help you every step of the way.

We at personally green are happy to work with other organizations in any way we can. After all, this isn't about membership or power it's about the planet and our well being on it. That's why you'll find links to other organizations on this site.

We at Personally Green are more interested in what it takes to succeed than who's getting the most donations.

There's literally hundreds of ways for you to help. Come be part of the solution and learn how easy and exciting and fun it is to be green.

Watch this it may help you!

The personally green symbol, a green leaf tied with a yellow ribbon lets everyone around you know you aim to change the idea that we as individuals are "not" powerless, and to encourage the taking of individual responsibility. Once you've discovered the truth, it's easier to act responsibly and then join with countless others to influence change. Click here to take the pledge.

Coming together and voting with our dollars and focusing on the world of industry and commerce. Working to influence Corporate Ecological alignment, and to governments and nations to promote the idea of Global Ecological Responsibility.

As former Vice President Al Gore once said.
"As more and more people understand what's at stake, they become a part of the solution, and share both in the challenges and opportunities presented by the climate crisis.”

So if you're concerned about the environment and you want others around you to be aware of your concern, start wearing the green leaf and yellow ribbon (or green and yellow ribbons together) and signify your commitment to be personally green.

Being personally green can be fun and a great chance to show your own personality.

I have gotten e-mail's from all around the United States from people just like you who come up with unique ways to where the green and yellow ribbon.

Jenny, a student at San Diego High School ties her ribbons around her bracelet that she wears on her arm.

Leticia, a student at Head-Royce Middle School, she wears one tied through a button hole on her shirt because her mother does want her making holes in her shirt.

Denise, mother of three Atlantic City, wears one all the time on her coat shirt or blouse and ties one set on her car key chain.

I have also been contacted by florists who are getting requests from customers to add the colors and ribbons to their arrangements.

It doesn't really matter "how" you wear the green and yellow ribbon, what matters is, that you "wear" your green and yellow ribbon; to show others your concerned about Global Warming and you’re doing something about it!

I was feeling kind of guilty having to pluck my poor ficus tree every day. So, I started wearing the two ribbons instead and it seems to be a more practical solution for busy people.

Being "PERSONALLY GREEN" means taking personal responsibility for your actions.

The leaf is a symbol of the sustainable renewable resource.

A plant sprouts new leaves every year and after they have served their purpose they fall to the earth and become food for future growth. It's a perfect example of sustainable recycling. A completely renewable resource.

The yellow ribbon through the years has evolved into a symbol of a promise not to forget and awaiting of a welcome return.

The "Green Leaf and yellow ribbon" when combined becomes a symbol of a promise by the wearer to help protect the environment through their personal day to day activities and serve to remind others around them of the need to do so.

So through the combination of the green leaf and the yellow ribbon the wearer shows there commitment to renewable resources and a personal pledge to work towards a clean and sustainable environment.
